Ashley Hong joins Gardner Literary
We’re expanding! Please join me in welcoming former PRH/Convergent editor Ashley Hong to the team as our newest agent.Previously, Ashley served as editor of the New York Times bestsellers A Rhythm of Prayer by Sarah Bessey and This Here Flesh by Cole Arthur Riley. She was also editor of the critically acclaimed Shoutin’ in the Fire by Dante Stewart; and Truth’s Table by the eponymous podcast hosts and authors.
Before becoming an editor, Ashley worked at a variety of digital media outlets, including Truthdig and CNN, which sparked a lifelong love of longform narrative nonfiction. As an agent, Ashley plans to represent authors of adult nonfiction encompassing memoir, faith, prescriptive nonfiction, business, cultural criticism, and more.
