Announcing Author School’s Next Session

Two years ago, my partners and I launched Author School with our inaugural course, “Pen to Published.” Since then we’ve had a great time walking through the basics of writing, publishing and platform-building with 700+ students. The responses at the end of the course have positive (well, raving actually!), as in this review from student Taryn Nergaard:

Author School gives you practical and applicable advice on how to become a published author. Rachelle cuts through all the noise and opinions to give you straightforward wisdom from her years of experience. You’ll walk away with clear next steps after every teaching. Thanks to this course, I feel less overwhelmed and more confident that I can pursue the writer’s life. This is the first course I’ve taken that offered significantly more value than the cost. I will recommend Author School to anyone who hopes to publish their writing one day!

We are excited to be offering Pen to Published once again, commencing on September 29th, 2020. The course will be eight weeks long, with 1-hour live video workshops taking place Tuesday evenings at 8pm ET, and will cover:

  • Getting started as a writer
  • The disciplines of writing
  • Revisions and editing
  • Query letters
  • Book proposals
  • Building an author platform
  • and more

Click here to view the 8-week course.

Enrollment will close on September 28, 2020.

As a part of this 8-week course you will have access to the following:

  • 8 weeks of curriculum with worksheets, links and downloads
  • 8 live video workshops
  • Access to a closed Facebook group in which I will participate
  • Permanent access to the workshop videos (in case you can’t be there live, or want to re-watch them later)

I’m excited to partner with you on your writing journey! I designed the “Pen to Published” course to lay the foundation for you to succeed as an author.

Hope to see you there!
