These promotions recognize Sherri and Kristy’s outstanding contributions, dedication, and exemplary leadership within the agency.
Kristy Cambron has been an integral part of Gardner Literary for two years, serving as literary agent. Throughout her tenure, Kristy has demonstrated a keen understanding of the publishing industry, a passion for nurturing talent, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results for both authors and the agency.
In her new role as Vice President, Kristy will continue to play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Gardner Literary while serving her clients in her ongoing role as literary agent. Her wealth of experience, industry knowledge, and strong relationships within the literary community make her the perfect fit for this leadership position.
Sherri Wilson Johnson has worked alongside agency president Rachelle Gardner for more than five years, serving first as Administrative Assistant and currently as Operations Manager. Sherri’s expertise and dedication have been instrumental in the agency’s success, as she has been involved on every level of agency operations and author relations.
Sherri has begun building her client list while being mentored by the other agents, with whom she will share clients until she is promoted to full literary agent. She will initially focus on the Christian market, with particular interest in women’s fiction and contemporary romance. She is also seeking faith-related nonfiction, especially personal development, psychology and wellness.
Gardner Literary is a Colorado-based literary agency dedicated to representing and promoting exceptional authors across various genres. With roots originally in the faith-based publishing arena, Gardner Literary has expanded across all sectors of publishing  and is currently seeking both fiction and nonfiction in a wide variety of genres. With a commitment to excellence, Gardner Literary has played a key role in shaping the careers of numerous successful authors including Sarah Bessey, Rachel Held Evans, Austin Channing Brown, and Cole Arthur Riley.
