    >My ms is about a painter who painted the world into being only to have it handed over to a group of beings called "the sciences" to tweak. He's still upset with Biology for phasing out the dinosaurs and other things and making his animals eat each other.

    He's like a writer watching an editor rip out his favorite parts to make it better. Painful, but necessary.
